Brush plating/ Selective Plating has been in existence for over 50 years in the USA and is recognized as a fast and effective method of metal repair.

The accuracy obtained can be down to 2 microns, depending on application. The metal is selectively plated into position using electroplating technology, but unlike conventional systems, a bath or tank is not required. And it is 30-60 times faster than tank plating. And as a tank is not required, it is very portable. We come to you!

As a result, repairs can usually be achieved without dismantling or minimal dismantling of machinery, or on equipment, far too big to fit into any tank.

As it is a non thermal process, there is no thermal distortion, there is no annealing or hardening of substrates, or softening of surrounding chrome. And because the metal structure building is happening at micro levels, a very dense material is deposited. Applications include but not limited to, hydraulic spears, print roller, injection moulding machines, shafts, pins, bores, bearing housings, bus bars, communtators
